How Hot Shot Air Freight Works
When freight can’t wait for the next scheduled service, a hot shot charter puts it on its own aircraft. Here’s how it works.
What is hot shot air freight?
Hot shot air freight is an urgent consignment flown on a dedicated chartered aircraft, direct from origin to destination. There’s no waiting for a timetable, no sharing space and no transfers through a busy cargo terminal.
It’s the go-to option when a broken part is stopping production, a remote site needs supplies now, or a shipment is too urgent or awkward for scheduled cargo.
